Can I transfer my phone number to DynaSky and how long will the number transfer take?

DynaSky Home Phone provides you free number transfer service, helping you to keep your current phone number. The number transfer usually takes 30 or more business days to port your existing number over to DynaSky. During this period, please DO NOT cancel your phone service with your current carrier. We will give you a temporary number for your DynaSky Home Phone. After your number has been successfully transferred to DynaSky, the temporary number will cease to be effective.

Will the Number Transfer process affect my phone use?

No. Both the number you want to transfer and your temporary number will function normally during the number transfer process. In rare condition, during the day the number transfer succeeds, there might be several hours you can’t use your DynaSky Home Phone.

How to submit the number transfer request?

  1. Fill out the Letter of Authorization form;
  2. Prepare the first page of your phone bill from your previous carrier. You may upload it online after you fill out the Letter of Authorization, or fax it to 1-888-991-5088, or send it by email to voiplnp@damai.tv.

Please note:

  1. Your application will be viewed only after you submitted your phone bill.
  2. The name and address you provided for number transfer must be exactly the same as what you provided to your local phone service provider, which is the Service Address of your number. If you are not sure about the address, please contact your phone service provider and ask for CSR (Customer Service Record) number. Your number transfer may be delayed or even rejected if the information you provided is incorrect.
  3. During the number transfer process, please DO NOT cancel your phone service with your current carrier. Otherwise your number may be lost which causes your number transfer fail.

How do I know the number is successfully transferred?

Number transfer usually takes 30 or more business days. During the process, we will send you email notifications regarding the progress. You may call our 24/7 customer support hotline 1-888-681-4588 to check the number transfer progress. After your number has been successfully transferred to DynaSky, your previous phone service will be automatically cancelled. You don’t need to cancel the service yourself. However, we suggest you to contact your phone company to confirm the termination of the service.

Do I need to cancel my current phone service during number transfer?

During the number transfer process, DO NOT cancel your phone service with your current carrier. Otherwise your number may be lost which causes your number transfer fail. After your number has been successfully transferred to DynaSky, your previous phone service will be automatically cancelled. You don’t need to cancel the service yourself. However, we suggest you to contact your phone company to confirm the termination of the service.

Can all telephone number be transferred to DynaSky?

Most of the numbers can be transferred without problem. However, for a few DSL customers, their telephone service is bundled with the DSL broadband service. Therefore, the telephone service cannot be canceled alone. If you are a DSL customer, please verify with your DSL company before you submit the telephone transfer application. DynaSky is not responsible for any loss due to number transfer.
